57 Retirees Honored at Capitol

The retirees of the Provincial Government of Negros Occidental were given tribute at the Capitol Social Hall in Bacolod City, Tuesday. Fifty-seven retirees, who were former Capitol employees, were honoured at the Tribute to Retirees Program of the Provincial Government of Negros Occidental dubbed as Pasalamat…Paalam 2016 held at the Capitol Social Hall in Bacolod City, Tuesday.

Of the 57, nine of which are posthumous awardees.

Each of the retirees received certificates, P10,000 cash from Gov. Alfredo Marañon, Jr.; they also received P2,000 cash from Capitol Government Employees Multi-Purpose Cooperative (CAPGEM Coop) and P500 cash from the Progressive Alliance of Capitol Employees (PACE); they have also received raffle prizes.

Board Member Salvador Escalante, Jr. welcomed all the retirees during the program and thanked them for their years of service with the provincial government.

Acting Provincial Administrator, Dr. Leo Eusebio, lauded the retirees for their contribution in the achievements and awards of the provincial government for the past years.

In his response, Ricardo Calseña, former employee at the Negros Occ. Investment and Promotions Center, said that as retirees, they are blessed to have worked in the province.

Also present in the activity are the families, colleagues and office heads of the retirees.
