BFP-NIR Turns Over Fire Trucks, Ambulances, Rescue Van to LGUs

The Bureau of Fire Protection – Negros Island Region (BFP-NIR) turned over fire trucks, ambulances and rescue van to the Provincial Government of Negros Occidental that will be distributed to the six local government units of the province.

The turn over ceremony was held at the Provincial Capitol grounds in Bacolod City, Friday, as part of the culminating activity of the Fire Prevention Month.

Two fire trucks and two ambulance units will be given to the municipalities of Candoni and Ilog, the other four ambulance units will be given to the municipalities of Cauayan and Hinobaan, and the cities of Kabankalan and Sipalay; Sipalay will also have one unit of rescue van.

SSupt. Fred Trajeras, Jr., OIC Director of the BFP-NIR led in the turn over activity and witnessed by Negros Occ. Provincial Fire Marshal, Supt. Rodolfo Denaga, and BFP personnel from the different BFP units.

Executive Asst. to the Governor, Manuel Escalante III, who represented Gov. Alfredo Marañon, Jr., and Acting Provincial Administrator, Dr. Leo Eusebio lauded the BFP-NIR for the active implementation of its programs and projects./Capitol News
