A total of 192 newly-hired and promoted employees of the Provincial Government of Negros Occidental took their oath of office before Vice Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson, in a ceremony held at the Capitol Social Hall in Bacolod City, Friday (Feb 10).

The employees are from the different Capitol offices and departments and from the provincial government-run hospitals; they were hired from January to September last year.

After the oath taking ceremony, the employees also attended a Job Orientation Seminar conducted by Bethoven Tiano, Supervising Personnel Specialist of the Civil Service Commission – Negros Occ. Field Office.

In his message, Vice Gov. Lacson said that it is a privilege for the employees to join in the organization that has reaped so many awards. He also said that he is hopeful that they can contribute to further enhance the government services provided to their fellow Negrenses.

“I hope the employees will continue to do their best in every task that is given to them,” he added.

The activity was spearheaded by the Provincial Human Resource Management Office headed by Atty. Anabelle Palic.

Also present in the activity were Board Member Salvador Escalante, Jr., Acting Provincial Administrator Dr. Leo Eusebio, and heads of the concerned departments and offices./Capitol News
