PHO Holds Medical/Dental Outreach Program in Cauayan

More than 500 residents of the Municipality of Cauayan availed of free medical and dental services, and were given medicines, during the conduct of a Medical/Dental Outreach Program spearheaded by the Negros Occidental Provincial Health Office (PHO), Friday.

Gov. Alfredo Marañon, Jr. together with Cauayan Mayor John Rey Tabujara visited the said activity held at the Brgy. Inayawan Covered Court.

The beneficiaries had free medical consultations from the PHO doctors, and tooth extraction utilizing the provincial government’s modern dental buses; they were also given free medicines and food supplements.

The residents thanked the provincial government for reaching out to them to have free health services that they need.

The PHO Medical Team was headed by Provincial Health Officer, Dr. Ernell Tumimbang.

Also present in the activity were Provincial Engineer, Engr. Ernie Mapa, Provincial Veterinarian, Dr. Renante Decena, known philanthropist Merceditas Montilla, and other local officials./Capitol News
