SEAGAMES CHAMPS VISIT
CAPITOL
Vice-Governor Isidro P. Zayco congratulated the Negrense
winners of the recently concluded 24th South East Asian
Games (SEAGAMES) held at Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand on Dec.
5 –16, 2007, as the athletes paid a courtesy visit to the
Governor’s Office, yesterday.
Julius Sermona won silver medals in 5,000 m and 10,000 m
running event; Arniel Ferrera from Cauayan won gold in
Hammer Throw; Mitchel Martinez from Bago City won silver in
the Women’s Boxing; and Junel Cantancio, also from Bago City
won silver in the Men’s Boxing.
Also present during their courtesy visit were Executive
Assistant to the Governor Gerard Tupas and Special Assistant
for Special Concerns Atty. Ike Barredo./Capitol News
