PROVINCIAL GOV’T HONORS 30 RETIREES
A total of 30 retirees, five of them posthumous awardees were honored by the Provincial Government of Negros Occidental in a tribute called “Pasalamat…Paalam” held at the Capitol Social Hall, yesterday.
The retirees are Bonifacio Alvarez of the Provincial Accounting Office, Anecito Arela of the Provincial Information Office, Jose Arnosa, Sr. of the Vicente Gustilo District Hospital, Josefino Beloya, Sr. of the General Services Office, Flordeliza Cagalawan of Don Salvador Benedicto Memorial Hospital, Sol Carcillar of the Valladolid District Hospital, Eva Chua of the Provincial Health Office, Ernesto Garciniego of the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist, Dimmy Gerona of the Valladolid District Hospital, Alberto Gracia of the Provincial Planning and Development Office, Romulo Gustilo and Arturo Hallares of the Provincial Engineer’s Office, Luna Macalipsay of the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist, Rogelio Magan of the Provincial Engineer’s Office, Jose Montesino, Jr. of the Provincial Assessor’s Office, Joel Ordas of the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist, Antonio Ramos of the Pana-ad Park and Stadium, Warlito Sancap of the Office of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, Evangeline Segovia of the Gov. Valeriano M. Gatuslao Memorial Hospital, Manuel Tingson of the Provincial Health Office, Virginia Trinidad of the Pana-ad Park and Stadium, Jose Trocio and Santiago Villachica of the Provincial Engineer’s Office, Ma. Erlinita Waldato of the Gov. Valeriano M. Gatuslao Memorial Hospital and Noli Angeles of the Provincial Environment Management Office.
The posthumous awardees are Jane Cequiña of Don Salvador Benedicto Memorial Hospital, Rosanna Juperatum of the Teresita L. Jalandoni Provincial Hospital, Mario Malaga of the Provincial Environment Management Office, Feliling Romo of the Public Affairs Office, and Robito Roquero of Don Salvador Benedicto Memorial Hospital.
Acting Gov. Isidro P. Zayco thanked the retirees for their contribution as employees in helping the provincial government achieve its mission of carrying out development programs and projects in the upliftment of the lives of fellow Negrenses.
The retiree with the largest service record is Luna Macalipsay, an agricultural technologist at OPA with 44 years.
The retirees were given retirement plaques and tokens as part of the program organized by the staff of Provincial Human Resource Management Office.
Also present during the tribute were: Third District Board Member Manuel Frederick Ko, who is the chairman of the SP Committee on Personnel; Provincial Administrator Enrique Pinongan, and other department heads./Capitol News
