Officers of the Association of Barangay Captains (ABC)
Federation or the Liga ng mga Barangay in the province took
their Oath of Office before Vice Gov. Isidro P. Zayco at the
Capitol yesterday.
Sworn into office were George Gitano from Pontevedra,
president; Joedith Gallego from Silay City, vice president;
Clemente dela Peņa from Murcia, secretary; Ramon Yulo, Jr.
from Bago City, treasurer; Francisco Mamigo of Cauayan,
auditor. The Board of Directors were Oscar Catalino Yulo of
Hinigaran, Harim Caduhada of La Castellana, Jacob Liansing
of La Carlota City, Aladrino Lumayno of Escalante City,
Alexander Palanca of Victorias City and Wilfredo Cervantes
of Cadiz City.
As president, Gitano will continue to sit as a member of the
Sangguniang Panlalawigan representing the ABC Federation.
The oathtaking ceremony was witnessed by Sangguniang
Panlalawigan Member Melvin Ibaņez together with Department
of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Provincial Director
