PNB TURNS OVER PROVINCIAL
GOVERNMENT-OWNED PROPERTY |

Acting Gov. Isidro P. Zayco at the turnover ceremony for
the 4,000 sq. m. lot at the Capitol. |

Officials
of the Philippine National Bank (PNB) formally tuned
over the 4,000 sq. m. lot located at corner Lacson
Street and North Capitol Road, to the Provincial
Government of Negros Occidental in a simple ceremony
yesterday attended by Acting Governor Isidro P. Zayco,
among others, at the Governor’s Office, Provincial
Capitol.
PNB was represented by First Senior
Vice-President Rafael Z. Sison, Jr. and Senior Vice
President Aida M. Padilla.
First Vice President Rowena E. Magpayo of the PNB
Regional Management Division-Manila, First Asst. Vice
President Edwin Arroyo, Regional Business Manager of the
PNB Regional Business Center, Suzette V. Rivera and
Isagani O. Medez of the PNB-Bacolod also witnessed the
turnover.
According to the PNB statement read by Branch Manager of
the PNB Amelia Avenue, Marilou N. Infante, the
provincial government of Negros Occidental has
maintained its close alliance with the PNB working hand
and hand as it pursues the over-all development of
Negros Occidental, at the same time adapting to the
changing global landscape.
She added that in the pursuit of the common goal of
promoting the province‘s advancement and through the
initiative of the present provincial government, PNB
agreed to turn over the 4,000 sq. m. lot as requested
earlier by Gov. Joseph G. Marañon.
Furthermore, she said they understand that the area will
be developed in line with the provincial government’s
plans which are to the benefit of its constituents.
Vice-Gov. Isidro P. Zayco welcomed and thanked the PNB
officials for their consideration of the Provincial
Government’s request.
Also present in the turnover ceremony were Acting
Vice-Gov. Emilio Yulo III, Provincial Administrator
Enrique Pinongan, Provincial Legal Officer and
Governor’s Chief of Staff Atty. Jose Ma. Valencia,
Special Asst. for Special Concerns Atty. Ike Barredo,
and Provincial Budget Officer Percival Salado,
