Negros Occidental’s
Acting Gov. Isidro P. Zayco yesterday turned over a
check worth P50,000 for the various programs and
projects of the National Movement of Young Legislators (NMYL)
– Negros Occidental Chapter in the presence of
Provincial Board Member Nehemias “Nene” dela Cruz at the
Capitol. NMYL
Provincial Chairperson Roland dela Cruz received the
check together with the other officers of the movement.
Acting Gov. Zayco also
administered the Oath of Office of Sangguniang Kabataan
Federation Chairperson April delos Reyes of the City of
Silay. Meanwhile,
Zayco met with the 19-member delegation of the ‘Church
of the Open Door’ from the U.S.A. who are in the
province for a national conference hosted by Dr. Edgar
Nono, Pastor of the Bible Baptist Church in La Carlota
City in the presence of Special Assistant on Special
Concerns Atty. Ike Barredo.
The group, connected
with the “Sword of the Lord,” one of the biggest
fundamental Christian magazine in the U.S., is led by
