Group number four
composed of Barangays Lag-asan, Poblacion, Sagasa and
Caridad was in the third place with P10,000 cash prize.
While group number ten
representing Barangays Calumangan and Taloc was in the
fourth place with P5,000 cash prize.
Instead of the traditional
‘babaylan’ street dance and final arena presentation,
this year’s competition has a new twist: that of
‘samba,’ using live music and various instruments.
A total of 10 groups combining the different barangays
of the city participated in the activity.
Present during the affair
were Provincial Board Member Mae Javellana, Bago City
Mayor Ramon Torres together with councilors and barangay
