Data on labor and
employment are critical inputs in the formulation of policies aimed at
providing adequate employment opportunities and productive activities
to the country's labor force. The labor force is the backbone of the
economy. This single factor alone speaks of a vital sector that plays a
crucial role in the development of the nation and the upliftment of the
economic well-being of the people. (RSET)
