Barangays receive project funds worth a total of 15M

Governor Bong Lacson turned over checks to the different barangays of the province totaling P15 Million to fund their respective projects.

The recipient barangays are Brgy. V, Silay City; Brgy. West and Brgy. East, both of the Municipality of Candoni; Brgy. Bulata, Cauayan; Brgy. Poblacion, Valladolid, and Brgys. Sta. Rosa, Minoyan, Amayco, San Miguel, Lopez Jaena, Sta. Cruz, Canlandog, Zone III, Zone II, all of the Municipality of Murcia.

Each barangay received P300,000 for projects such as concreting of barangay road, acquisition of multi-purpose vehicles, repairs of multi-purpose halls, construction of bleachers with canopy, construction of perimeter fence, rehabilitation of sports and cultural center, repair of day care center, installation of CCTV, and construction of a water system.

Meanwhile, the Municipality of Valladolid through Mayor Enrique Miravalles, also received P1Million for the acquisition of a multi-purpose vehicle.

The checks were personally received by the punong barangays and authorized representatives, at the Capitol Social Hall.
