The Abanse Negrense Team/Volleyball Association of Negros Island, Inc. who bagged the championship in the recent 2021 Philippine Super Liga (PSL) Beach Volleyball Challenge Cup, paid a courtesy visit to Gov. Bong Lacson at the Capitol, yesterday, and thanked him for the support to the team.
The team represented the Province of Negros Occidental in the national tournament held at Subic, Zambales, which is considered the first official volleyball tournament to be played since the lockdown in March last year.
The players are Erjane Magdato, Alexa Polidario, Jennifer Cosas, and Gelimae Villanueva. Carmela Gamboa, team manager and president of the Volleyball Association of Negros Island, Inc. accompanied the players.
