Capitol Implements One Hospital System | Negros Occidental Provincial Government

Philippine Standard Time:
Capitol Implements One Hospital System

The Provincial Government of Negros Occidental has implemented a One Hospital System that enabled its doctors to perform elective surgery procedures to patients needing surgical treatments in provincial government-run hospitals.

The first kick off was at Valeriano Gatuslao Memorial Hospital in Himamaylan City, today, where doctors have successfully performed hemorrhoidectomy, inguinal hernia repair, debridement of septic arthritis, and dilatation and curettage due to incomplete abortion and abnormal uterine bleeding. Under the said system, a complete medical team will be deployed as scheduled to all 11 provincial government-run hospitals in different cities and municipalities of the province, so patients need not to be referred to other hospitals.

The concept entails bringing medical services to the people as anchored on the Abanse Negrense Priority Development Agenda of the present administration.
