A bloodletting activity was held at the Provincial Capitol in Bacolod City, today, spearheaded by the Provincial Health Office and Negros First Provincial Blood Center. Governor Bong Lacson attended the activity and thanked all the blood donors for their humanitarian act.“This blood donation activity will greatly help our efforts to meet the blood supply in the province. On our end, the provincial government will continue to subsidize the costs of processing fees so that we can ease the burden of those in need,” said Gov. Lacson.He also said that the COVID-19 pandemic is the central concern of everyone at present but that does not in any way discount the need for blood, and blood donation remains to be the only way of providing blood.The activity is themed “Give blood and make the world a healthier place”, in line with this year’s campaign theme.#AbanseNegrense
