FAMILY PLANNING MONTH CULMINATION. The Provincial Health Office with support from the Dept. of Health, Commission on Population and Development, and USAID ReachHealth spearheaded the Family Planning Month Culmination, held at the Capitol Social Hall in Bacolod City today.
Individuals and groups, who have done excellent performance in advocating family planning and adolescent health and development, were recognized during the program.Present in the culmination activity were Board Member Araceli Somosa, chairman of the SP Committee on Health, Dr. Girlie Pinongan, Head of the Hospital Operations Department, Dr. Romulo Rhoel Mogul, Medical Specialist III of the Provincial Health Office, Dr. Gabby Palacios, Cluster Head, Family Health Services, and chiefs of hospitals, among others.
The Family Planning Month celebration had various activities aimed at raising awareness on reproductive health, and proper pregnancy timing and spacing, in accordance with family size goals.
