The Lady Local Legislators’ League of the Philippines (Four-L) Philippines, Inc. Negros Occ. Chapter held its General Assembly and Provincial Election at FTMON Function Hall in Bacolod City, today.

Governor Bong Lacson welcomed all delegates from different LGUs of the province at the opening ceremony of the event.

Four-L Philippines, Inc. is an all-women organization composed of lady members of the different Sanggunians pushing for policies and programs of that government for the benefit of the community and the country, mainly enacting measures for the welfare of women, children, and family.

Gov. Lacson encouraged the members to continue pushing for transparency, accountability, and ethical leadership as well as embrace creativity and inclusivity in their initiatives, to ensure that society’s different needs are met.

“Your actions have the power to create lasting change. Continue to be advocates for policies that uplift marginalized communities, pursue the empowerment of women, protect the environment, and foster economic growth,” he said.

Also present at the activity were Four-L Negros Occ. President, Board Member Juvy Pepello and Iloilo Vice Governor Christine Garin, who gave an orientation about Four-L Philippines.* #AbanseNegrense
