WATCH. Gov. Bong Lacson lauded the Philippine Jin Jiang General Association, Inc. Negros Occ. Chapter for their active citizenship and volunteerism in the recently conducted Celebration of Establishment and 1st Officers Induction Ceremony at the Acacia Hotel in Bacolod City.
Governor Bong Lacson lauded the Philippine Jin Jiang General Association, Inc. Negros Occ. Chapter for their active citizenship and volunteerism, during the association’s Celebration of Establishment and 1st Officers Induction Ceremony held at the Acacia Hotel in Bacolod City yesterday.
Gov. Lacson thanked the officers and members of the association for responding to the needs of the province during the pandemic and calamities.
“The demands of our time are great and are different. It is for this reason that I commend the practice of active citizenship, for volunteerism is the ultimate practice of democracy,” he said.
Gov. Lacson also said that with the pandemic recovery as the main backdrop of the country and the entire world, it’s good to know that an association of outstanding individuals is chartering anew in the province.
The governor lauded the charter members and officers led by its president and honorary chairman, Mr. Jet Lee, and welcomed guests from different parts of the country.
Present at the activity were the chairman of the association’s assembly and Negros Occ. Provincial Board Member Samson Mirhan, Inducting Officer and PJJGAI Chairman Charles Chen, Honorary Chairman Hong Rongxi, Cai Zheren, Lu Qingkai, and Wang Rongqian, Executive Vice Chairman Chen Jinyi, Cadiz City Mayor Salvador Escalate, Jr., and Instructor, Alfredo Barcelona, among others.
