Governor Bong Lacson led in the inauguration of the Guintubhan Bridge located along Isabela – Camangcamang Provincial Road in the Municipality of Isabela, today.

Isabela Mayor Irene Montilla, Negros Occ. Provincial Engineer, Ernie Mapa and other local officials joined the governor in the said activity.

The P60 Million bridge has a length of 100 meters with 5.60 meters carriageway.

Mayor Montilla said that the people of Isabela are happy and thankful to the Provincial Government for the worthwhile project and that will make a difference in surrounding communities.

She recalled that the bridge used to made of wood and was destroyed by previous typhoons and so she is thankful to the Provincial Government for the concrete bridge that started its construction in 2018.

Gov. Lacson said that he hopes that bridge will help facilitate more economic activities and more development in all neighboring barangays.

Local residents, especially tricycle drivers said that they are thankful for the bridge that means a lot for their safety and of all people in the community, considering that they have a large population.
