Governor Bong Lacson led in the groundbreaking ceremony of the Negros Occidental Language and IT Center (NOLITC) Global Campus at Hda. Manaul, Brgy. Matab-ang, Talisay City, today.
The campus will have an Administration Building with classrooms and conference halls, a Foreign Language Building, and an Administrator’s Office Building.

Talisay City Mayor Neil Lizares said that establishment of NOLITC Campus will advance Talisay City’s aim to be the next Smart City, and it will benefit not only the people of Talisay but all Negrenses, as well.
The project is in line with the Provincial Government’s Program on Enhancement of Access to Quality Education and ICT Development under the Abanse Negrense Development Agenda.
Also present in the activity were Negros Occ. Provincial Administrator, Atty. Rayfrando Diaz, NOLITC Administrator Dr. Cristina Orbecido, and Provincial Engineer, Engr. Ernie Mapa, among others.
