Description: The Provincial Government of Negros Occidental under the administration of Gov. Eugenio Jose V. Lacson is extending its Northern Territory, Australia Scholarship Program on a ‘Study Now, Pay Later’ scheme  to ten (10) qualified and deserving Negrense young professionals with the objective of providing them with globally-recognized education at the International College of Advanced Education (ICAE) and Alana Kaye College (AKC) in Northern Territory, Australia.   Five students will study Commercial Cookery at ICAE for two years and five students will take up Early Childhood Education and Care at AKC for two years and three months.   ICAE focuses on providing students with vocational outcomes that incorporate classroom study and paid industry placement.   It is open to Culinary, Hotel and Restaurant Management, and Hospitality Management graduates with two years experience in Commercial Cookery.     AKC offers high quality combined Certificate III and Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care that caters to physical, social and emotional needs of children while also nurtures young minds in day care and other educational centers.  This program is open to licensed teachers with two years experience in teaching.    This program is a collaborative effort of the Provincial Government of Negros Occidental and the Northern Territory, Australia Government on Education and Training with the support of Honorary Consul-General of the Philippines to Northern Territory,  Januario R. Rivas.   Obligation of the scholars: Since this is a Study Now, Pay Later Program, grantees are tasked to remit their payments to the Provincial Treasurer’s Office in accordance to the Schedule of Payment provided by the Negros Occidental Scholarship Program Division.
