A 2Go Malasakit Voyage arrived at the Bredco Port in Bacolod City with 721 locally stranded individuals (LSIs) from Manila, at 6pm last Friday (July 17); 16 Negros Oriental LSIs and three OFWs are among them. All were swabbed for COVID-19 testing upon arrival at the port and endorsed to their respective local government units.

28 Negrense OFWs arrived today via Air Asia Sweeper flight
Another group of repatriated Negrense OFWs arrived in the province earlier today via Air Asia sweeper flight. All 28 of them will be swabbed for COVID-19 testing and will stay in a hotel in Bacolod City for quarantine. The repatriation of OFWs is facilitated by OWWA and national IATF in coordination with the provincial government.
