WATCH: Turn over of assistance to Grade 10 Negrense scholars at Miyakonojo Higashi High School in Japan
Board Member Agustin Ernesto Bascon, chairman of the SP Committee on Education, yesterday led the turn over of checks to the parents of nine Grade 10 Negrense scholars who graduated at Miyakonojo Higashi High School in Japan last month. The assistance worth a total of P1.2 Million will be used to pay for the students’ school admission fees, dormitory, and textbooks, as they pursue a Vocational Caretaker Course at Houshin School of Healthcare and Environmental Management Course at Asia Pacific University in Japan.
With them are Negros Occ. Scholarship Program Head, Karen Dinsay and SP Secretary, Atty. Maki Angel Ascalon.
