A total of P12.8 million were distributed to 64 barangays of the different districts of Negros Occidental, to fund their various development projects.

The ceremonial turnover of checks to the punong barangays and representatives was held at the HOD Social Hall at the Provincial Capitol, Thursday (June 15) led by Gov. Bong Lacson, and Board Members Jeffrey Tubola and Manuel Frederick Ko.

The said barangay projects include the installation of solar streetlights, rehabilitation of barangay roads, construction of drainage canals, construction of SK Hall, construction of footwalks, acquisition of office supplies and equipment, and renovation of barangay hall, among others. #AbanseNegrense
