Gov. Bong Lacson led the distribution of incentives worth a total of P677,000 to Palarong Pambansa medalists of Negros Occidental, today.

Gold medalists received P5,000 for each medal; silver medalists received P3,000, and bronze medalists received P1,000 each.Negrense athletes won 106 gold medals, 31 silver medals, and 54 bronze medals.

The most bemedalled athlete was given another P5,000, and the record-breaker athlete also received an additional P5,000.The trainers were also given incentives worth a total of P85,000 from the Provincial Government.

The Palarong Pambansa was held in Marikina City last July 30 – August 5, 2023.*#AbanseNegrense
