CAPITOL, UBIQUITY SIGN MOA FOR TRAINING AND EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES

Governor Bong Lacson signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) today with Ubiquity Global Services that will provide training and employment opportunities for skilled Negrense youth, through the Negros Occ. Language and IT Center.

Ubiquity was represented by its Sourcing Associate Manager, John Paul Bandong and Sourcing Associate, Mae Calopez; NOLITC was represented by Vocational School Administrator Ma. Cristina Orbecido.

The agreement aims to help NOLITC graduates find internship and employment opportunities with the said business process outsourcing company.

As stated in the MOA, both parties will assist graduates, and find internship and employment opportunities subject to recruitment and hiring policies and standards.

Both parties agreed to collaborate in job fairs, and other school activities, curriculum and training, and job postings.

NOLITC and Ubiquity share the common vision and goal of improving the skills and training of the Negrense youth to enhance their qualification for employment in the call center industry.
