Gov. Bong Lacson met with the 81 students from different cities and municipalities of Negros Occidental, who are grantees of Dualtech Scholarship Program, at the Capitol, this afternoon.

The grantees, who are bound for Manila on Saturday, will study Electromechanics Technology Course at Dualtech Training Center Foundation, Inc. in Calamba, Laguna for two years, sponsored by the Provincial Government in collaboration with Buglas Foundation, Inc.

They are out-of- school youth and senior high school graduates who are willing to be trained for two years in Laguna.

This technical-vocational program is line with the Abanse Negrense Agenda of the Governor to upskill out-of-school youth.

The scholars will study Electromechanic Technology for six months in a classroom-based setting and will work in different companies for 18 months for their on-the-job training.*
