Governor Bong Lacson led the distribution of the Quick Turn Around or Early Planting Incentive Project to 148 farmers of Hinoba-an, worth a total of P352, 760, Monday, October 17, 2022.
Sixth District Board Member Jeffrey Tubola, Hinoba-an Mayor Daph Anthony Reliquias, Vice Mayor Jefre Encoy, and all SB Members joined the ceremonial turnover of the incentives held at Pagbanaag People’s Activity Center in Hinoba-an.
The Early Planting Incentive Project provides cash incentives to farmers engaged in early planting from April to May to support rice requirements in the province during the off-milling season, particularly during the height of the pandemic.
The amount given to farmers covers a total land area of 176 hectares in the different barangays of the town.
Also present at the activity were Supervising Provincial Agriculturist Dina Genzola, Municipal Administrator John Marc Reliquias, and staff from the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist and Municipal Agriculture Office.
