The Provincial Government of Negros Occidental distributed a total of 1,060 food packs to the families affected by Tropical Storm “Paeng” in the municipalities of E.B. Magalona and Pulupandan, Friday (Nov. 18).
The distribution was facilitated by the Provincial Administrator’s Office, Provincial Disaster Management Program Division, and Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office, held at the public plaza of each LGU.
The recipients received 5 kilos of rice and canned goods.
More food packs will be distributed to other LGUs affected by the said typhoon.
