The Province of Negros Occidental was recognized by DILG Negros Occidental as a Functional Peace and Order Council (POC) for CY 2022.

The POC Performance Audit is a yearly assessment conducted by DILG that aims to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of the POCs in promoting and maintaining security and public safety.

It assesses the performance of Regional Provincial, City, and Municipal Peace and Order Councils on their performance for the year 2022.
