Governor Bong Lacson welcomed all members and officers of the Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers (IIEE) of the Phils. – Western Visayas as they hold their 22nd Western Visayas Regional Conference in Bacolod City today.
Present at the opening program were Engr. Jalssen Dumancas, 2023 Governor, Western Visayas Region, Engr. Nuelbert Estores, 2023 Chapter VP for External Affairs, Engr. Roque Ben Ayubo, 2023 Chapter President, and Engr. Oscar Duca, Jr., 2023 VP for Internal Affairs, among others.
Gov. Lacson lauded the electrical engineers for their dedication to their work that led to the advancement of humanity and progress of the society.
He also said that electrical engineering is an evolving industry that entails growth in tandem with all technical developments and advancements.
“May this conference which showcase the latest trends and new products in your industry, inspire and move you even further towards your collective goal of global excellence,” said Gov. Lacson.
The conference is themed, “IIEE@48: Moving Forward Collectively as We Pave the Way to the World of Opportunities and Digital Innovations”.
