Governor Bong Lacson and 6th District Board Member Jeffrey Tubola led today’s distribution of gilts and piglets to livestock raisers of the 6th District LGUs, who are beneficiaries of the Negros Occ. Typhoon Odette Livestock & Poultry Rehabilitation Program.
The ceremonial turnover of livelihood assistance was held in Sipalay City and the Municipality of Ilog, respectively.
It is a joint project of the Dept. of Agriculture – Regional Field Office 6 and the Provincial Government of Negros Occidental through the Provincial Veterinary Office led by Dr. Placeda Lemana.
The governor was welcomed by Mayor Gina Lizares of Sipalay City and Mayor John Paul Alvarez of Ilog, among other LGU officials.
