Governor Bong Lacson welcomed all participants of the Training Series on Delivering the Basics of Quality Public Library Services, spearheaded by the National Library of the Philippines, held at Sugarland Hotel in Bacolod City, Tuesday (July 11).

The activity aims to strengthen and recalibrate the quality of how public libraries offer their products and services, including their public accountability to the community by exploring the basic theories and concepts behind the current standards for public libraries.

Gov. Lacson encouraged all public librarians to work together to empower communities by providing accessible and inclusive public library services.

The NLP has been holding the said training series in various provinces in the country since May this year.*#AbanseNegrense
