The children of Provincial Capitol employees who are grantees of the Negros Occidental Scholarship Program paid a courtesy visit to Governor Bong Lacson at the Governor’s Office today.
They thanked the governor for the college scholarship granted to them through the Provincial Educational Assistance to Capitol Employees (PEACE).
The 17 scholars were accompanied by their parents and NOSP Head, Karen Dinsay. The scholars will enjoy free full tuition and allowances until they graduate.
Gov. Lacson advised the scholars to make the best effort in their studies and not waste the opportunity given to them. He also said that he is proud that provincial scholars always excel in their studies.
