The Province of Negros Occidental celebrated the Negros Safe Space Day, yesterday, in a program held at the Ayala Malls Activity Center.

The event was attended by the officers and members of the Provincial GAD Focal Point System, mayors, LGU representatives, women leaders, and other guests.

Gov. Bong Lacson led in the signing of the Safe Space Pledge, and commended Board Member Rita Gatuslao, chairperson of the SP Committee on Women, Children, and Family Relations, and the entire Sangguniang Panlalawigan for making Negros Occidental as among the first provinces to localize the Safe Space Act and its Implementing Rules and Regulations.
