Negros Occ. Gov. Bong Lacson, Vice Gov. Jeffrey Ferrer and Board Members led the official launching of this year’s Panaad sa Negros Festival.
The event was held at the Capitol Social Hall in Bacolod City, today attended by the Dept. of Tourism Regional Director Atty. Helen Catalbas, provincial officials, Panaad Executive Committee, Capitol department and office heads, and members of the media.
Panaad Festival, now on its 27th year, is scheduled on April 20 – 26, 2020 at the Panaad Park and Stadium with the theme, “Panaad 2020: The Future is Now”.
Gov. Lacson said that this year’s festivities will focus on food tourism, sports tourism, agri-tourism, culture, arts and heritage tourism, adventure tourism, eco-tourism, sustainable tourism and festival tourism.
“This year’s Panaad will be Millennial Savvy, we will have QR Code in promo materials. With one scan, we link to our website and Panaad activities. Good governance is definitely present in our preparations,” the governor added.
