SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE. Negros Occidental Provincial Agriculturist, Atty. Japhet Masculino, turns over checks worth a total of P833,055.40 to Governor Bong Lacson representing the proceeds for the sale of 1,400 20kg.-bag certified seeds to PhilRice through the Negros Occidental Accredited Seed Producers Cooperative (NOASEPCO). Total amount turned-over to the Province is already P933,055.40. The registered seeds were grown at the province’s Integrated Agricultural Center at Brgy. Cabadiangan, Himamaylan City managed and operated by the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist.
