Peter Geesink, PUM Expert on Pig Nucleus Farm, together with local representative Nancy Pestaño, met with Governor Bong Lacson at the Capitol yesterday afternoon for updates on the continuing partnership program on food security of the PGNO and PUM Netherlands Senior Experts.
Geesink will be providing recommendations on improved genetics and animal waste disposal that will guide and assist the new Nucleus Farm at the Negros Farm Ranch in Sta. Rosa, Murcia in collaboration with the Provincial Veterinary Office led by Dr. Placeda Lemana.
He is also set to visit the Artificial Insemination (AI) Centers in the province, located in EB Magalona, Victorias and Cadiz LGUs.
