Resbakuna Sa Botika

RESBAKUNA SA BOTIKA. National Task Force against Covid-19 Chief Implementer, Secretary Carlito Galvez, Health Secretary Francisco Duque III, Presidential Adviser for Covid-19 Response, Vivencio Dizon, OPAV Undersecretary Jonji Gonzales, together with Governor Bong Lacson, and Bacolod City Mayor Evelio Leonardia led the launching of the Resbakuna sa Botika at Ayala Malls in Bacolod City, today.

It aims to hasten the COVID-19 vaccination drive of the government and to deliver booster shots to more vaccinees.

Gov. Lacson said the “Resbakuna sa Botika” is another pioneering step to make sure the leaps made by science in the fight against Covid-19 can reach the general public.

He thanked Sec. Galvez, Sec. Vince Dizon, and Sec. Duque for visiting the province and for extending assistance and support needed to protect Negrenses.

He also said that now that the vaccines are more available to everyone, there is no reason not to get vaccinated.

“Getting vaccinated affords protection not just to the person inoculated, but to everyone else,“ he added.

Also present in the activity were Teresita L. Jalandoni Provincial Hospital Chief, Dr. Mary Ann Maestral, Negros Occ. Hospital Operations Department Chief, Dr. Girlie Pinongan, and Lorenzo Zayco District Hospital Chief, Dr. Claudelia Pabillo, among others.
