Negros Occ. Governor Bong Lacson, chairperson of the Regional Peace and Order Council (RPOC) VI presided over the council’s 2nd Quarter Meeting held at Negros Residences in Bacolod City, this morning.

Among the agenda discussed during the meeting were the region’s insurgency situation, peace and order situation, update on illegal drugs, and update on identified private groups and actions in preparation for the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections.

Present in the meeting were Police Regional Office 6 Director, PBGen Sidney Villaflor, who is also the RPOC Vice Chairperson, DILG 6 Regional Director Juan Jovian Engeniero, RPOC 6 Secretariat Head, Bacolod City Mayor Albee Benitez, and other council members.*#AbanseNegrense
