Thousands of Negrense teachers join the Teacher’s Day celebration held at the Panaad Stadium, today, with Vice President Sara Duterte-Carpio, Senators Imee Marcos and Francis Tolentino, Negros Occ. Gov. Bong Lacson, Bacolod Mayor Albee Benitez, DepEd Region VI Director Ramir Uytico, and DepEd Negros Occ. Schools Division Superintendent Anthony Liobet.

Negros Occidental officials and mayors also joined the Teacher’s Day celebration.

Present were Rep. Mercedes Alvarez, Rep. Joseph Stephen Paduano, Board Members Rita Gatuslao, Samson Mirhan, and Jeffrey Tubola, Mayors Albee Benitez, Javi Benitez, Laurence Marxlen dela Cruz, Marvin Malacon, Raymund Tongson Jr., Jose Nadie Arceo, Daph Anthony Reliquias, John Paul Alvarez, Irene Montilla, Benjie Miranda, Rhummyla Nicor-Mangilimutan, Manuel Escalante III, Ella Celestina Yulo, Gerry Roxas, Miguel Antonio Peña, Renato Gustilo, Joedith Gallego, Maria Gina Lizares, and Enrique Miravalles.
