TRICYCLE DRIVERS RECEIVE CASH ASSISTANCE
Governor Bong Lacson, Board Member Jeffrey Tubola (6th District), and Candoni Vice Mayor Maejoy Gargar led the distribution of cash assistance worth a total of P510,000 to indigent tricycle drivers in Candoni town, today, dubbed as “Ayuda sa Panahon sang Pandemya”.
Each of the 170 beneficiaries received P3,000 each in a turn over ceremony held at the Brgy. East Covered Court.
The program is spearheaded by Vice Mayor Maejoy Gargar in coordination with the Provincial Government of Negros Occidental through the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO).
Also present in the activity were PSWDO OIC Merle Garcia, Candoni SB Members, and other local officials.
