P8.6 M WORTH OF RELIEF ASSISTANCE RELEASED TO HINIGARAN

The Provincial Government of Negros Occidental distributed a total of P8.6 Million worth of relief assistance to Typhoon Odette victims in the Municipality of Hinigaran, today.

Governor Bong Lacson led and supervised the relief operations held in different barangays of the town, together with Fifth District Board Member Rita Gatuslao, Hinigaran Mayor Nadie Arceo, and other local officials.

The PGNO Team distributed food packs, corrugated GI sheets, and banana seedlings to 2,486 beneficiaries who were from Brgys. Miranda, Gargato, Anahaw, Tagda, Pilar, Nanunga, Cambaog, Cambugsa, Palayog, Narauis, Quiwi, Paticui, Bato, Calapi, Candumarao, Camalobalo, Aranda, Baga-as, Tuguis, Himaya, and Brgys. 1,2,3 and 4.

Gov. Lacson said he hopes that the assistance from the provincial government will be a lot of help to all typhoon victims for them to fully recover from typhoon damages.
