The Provincial School Sports Council held a meeting held at the Food Terminal Market of Occidental Negros (FTMON) in Bacolod City, this afternoon. Negros Occ. Gov. Bong Lacson attended the meeting, together with DepEd Negros Occ. Schools Division Superintendent Anthony Liobet.

The group discussed updates on the conduct of DepEd Athletic Meet and organization of Athletic/Sports Meets in the province, among other matters.

Gov. Lacson said that DepEd and the Provincial Government are in a crucial position to make a significant impact on the development of Negrense students and student-athletes.

He urged the council and sports mentors to wholeheartedly embrace such responsibility as a key contribution to nation-building.#AbanseNegrense
