Governor Bong Lacson led the opening of the Abanse Negrense Badminton Tournament Provincial Championship on December 10, 2022 at Po Hang Badminton Court in Bacolod City.
The participating LGUs are the cities of Cadiz, Sipalay, Bago, Himamaylan, La Carlota, San Carlos, Sagay, Victorias, Kabankalan, and Bacolod, and the municipalities of Binalbagan, Isabela, Hinigaran, and Candoni.
The activity is organized by the Provincial Sports Office led by Provincial Sports Coordinator, Anthony Carlo Agustin.
