CAPITOL HOLDS FOOTBALL, FUTSAL REFRESHER COURSE FOR REFEREES
Football and Futsal referees from the different LGUs of the province attended a two-day Refresher Course organized by the provincial government’s Sports Development Program Management Section.
The refresher course, that started yesterday (March 2), aims to update the local officiating sports officials on the new amendments of the ball games for efficient performance during competitions and matches.
Governor Bong Lacson lauded the referees for their active participation in the activity, for aiming for excellence in sports, and for guiding the Negrense youth athletes.
Facilitators in the refresher course were Jeffrey Velez, Referee Instructor of the Philippine Football Federation (PFF), and Emmanuel Elloso, PFF Futsal Instructor.
Also present were official coordinators, Ronald Allan Treyes and John Carmona, and Provincial Sports Coordinator Anthony Agustin, among others.
