The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council conferred the Gawad Kalasag Seal of Excellence to the Province of Occidental and declared the province Fully Compliant in adhering to the standards for the establishment and functionality of the LDRRMCOs.

PDMP Head, Dr. Zeaphard Caelian, and Project Development Officer, Irene Bel Ploteña received the award during the Gawad KALASAG National Awarding Ceremony held at the Manila Hotel today.
