Governor Bong Lacson and Vice Governor Jeffrey Ferrer turned over checks worth a total of 10.2 Million to the 34 barangays of the different cities and municipalities of the province, today, to fund the respective priority projects proposed by each local government unit.Each of the beneficiary barangays received P300,000 for projects such as acquisition of medical and rescue equipment, rehabilitation of barangay health centers, construction of perimeter fence, farm-to-market roads, drainage canals, acquisition of multi-purpose vehicles, and perimeter fence construction.Meanwhile, Mayor Victor Gerardo Rojas of the Municipality of Murcia also received P3 Million for the public plaza rehabilitation.The Punong Barangays personally received the checks in a turnover ceremony held at the Capitol Social Hall.
