Gov. Bong Lacson signed a Memorandum of Agreement with the grantees of the Diploma on Environment and Green Technology Education Scholarship Program at Philippine Normal University Visayas, with the aim to encourage and develop effective environmental conservation and management policies based on research and development.

The scholarship program is aimed at empowering environment practitioners by giving them opportunities to avail of diploma programs to enhance their knowledge, skills, and values towards environmental protection, conservation, and sustainability.

Meanwhile, the Provincial Government also signed a partnership agreement with Negros Women for Tomorrow Foundation, Inc. for a collaboration on environmental program implementation, through science-based resource management for community development.
