Governor Bong Lacson turned over livelihood and marketing financial assistance worth a total of P300,000 to Paglaum Community Development Cooperative and Sanlagosay Integrated Small Farmers Association, all of Escalante City, and Purok Guc-ong Fisherflok Association of Sagay City.
The checks were received by the beneficiaries at the Governor’s Office, this morning, and witnessed by Executive Assistant to the Governor, Marie June Castro and OPA Head, Dr. Edmundo Causing. The GAD-funded projects include Agricultural Product Store Project, Rice Retailing Store, and Fishery-Based Livelihood Project, which will benefit more than 268 association members.
